Season Finale

Clyde’s disappointing 2009-10 campaign comes to an end tomorrow, with the visit of Dumbarton to Broadwood. Neither team have any issues outstanding so the match should be a chance for both sets of players to try and play some entertaining football.

The Bully Wee have a clean bill of health and the squad will again have a very youthful feel to it, including no fewer than five 17-year-olds who have progressed from the club’s academy; Connor Stevenson, Steven Howarth, Connor Cassidy, Jordan Allan and Kevin Higgins.

Ahead of Stuart Millar commencing as head coach in a couple of weeks, Neil Watt will lead from the dugout again and Clyde’s director of football said, “We want to finish the season on a positive note and sign off with a win.

“I’d also like to take this opportunity to personally thank the fans for the tremendous support they have given the team in recent weeks. It’s been a particularly trying and frustrating time for everyone, but the backing has certainly helped what is a very young squad.”
