Peterhead 0-0 Clyde

The Blue Toon and the Bully Wee shared the points at Balmoor Stadium tonight, in a match that was heavily influenced by adverse weather.

With Willie Kinniburgh out injured, Willie McLachlan came back into the starting line-up and Neil McGowan moved back into defence.

Playing with the wind in the first half, Kris Doolan had a decent early chance following good work by Willie Sawyers but he couldn’t convert. At the other end, the home side enjoyed some half chances but it was a largely uneventful opening period of play.

The weather continued to affect proceedings after the break and at one point Callum Reidford was forced to catch his own goal-kick. Despite Peterhead enjoying the majority of possession and territory, they failed to create any clear chances or force the Clyde ‘keeper into a noteworthy save.

With time running out, the Bully Wee managed to force a chance when a corner turned into a scramble in the box, resulting in a last-gasp clearance from the goal line.
