Boyle Joins Clyde on Loan

The club has this afternoon finalised a deal to bring left-back Pat Boyle to Broadwood on a 28-day emergency loan.

He follows team-mates Willie Kinniburgh and Kris Doolan in making a temporary move from Partick Thistle.

The 22-year-old Glaswegian was signed by Everton as a teenager before moving back to Scotland in 2009 with Dumbarton. His impressive displays for the Sons quickly led to him being snapped up by Thistle in the summer.

He hasn’t yet established himself in the first team at Firhill and the move to Broadwood should be beneficial to both parties, during a very busy time for the Bully Wee.

Pat could make his debut at Alloa Athletic tomorrow.
