Ownership Debate Moves Forward
Moves to change the ownership of Clyde FC to a member owned structure have progressed a stage further as the majority stakeholder in the Bully Wee, the Clyde Development Consortium, agreed to participate in the process that aims to change the ownership of the club.
A positive, constructive and informative meeting was held and concluded with the Clyde Development Consortium and the boards of Clyde FC and the Clyde Supporters Trust agreeing to work in partnership to address concerns and produce the draft guiding rules and principles of the new structure.
Each of the three boards will nominate representatives to the working party and by the end of January 2010 will present their proposals to their respective groups and then to the wider support for approval.
The working party will commence this week and a presentation on the reasons for moving to a member owned structure will be given at Thursday’s Trust AGM.
