Neil’s Appeal

Director of football Neil Watt has called on all Clyde fans, old and young alike, to come along to Broadwood on Saturday:-

“Changes in management can be unsettling for players and staff alike and therefore it is vitally important that we all pull together at this time. I am urging all Clyde supporters to get wrapped up, leave the Christmas shopping until Sunday, and come along to Broadwood. We all need to get right behind the players and give them every possible backing.

“Training has been high tempo this week and John McCormack has got the players in the right frame of mind for what is a big game for us. Livingston have been going well of late and it’s a great challenge for the players to raise their game and get Clyde into the Fourth Round of the Scottish Cup.”

John echoed Neil’s sentiments and stressed how important backing from the stands would be to the team:

“Supporters are about supporting their team, so I want to see them do everything they can to help the guys and egg them on. That’s the sort of atmosphere we want.

“We know that what we do on the pitch will influence that though and we’re ready to get it going on Saturday.”
