Clyde Football Club wishes to announce that John McCormack will assume the role of team manager of the club until the end of the 2009-10 season.
John, 54, was brought to Broadwood as first team coach in September and took charge of the team for Saturday’s abandoned cup tie against Livingston.
He has a wealth of experience in Scottish football, both as a player and a coach, having previously managed clubs including Dundee, Queen’s Park and Greenock Morton; the latter two with whom he had championship success.
Director of football, Neil Watt said:-
“John provides us with the necessary experience that the players require at this stage in the season.
“He will officially start his tenure as manager today, as we prepare for our re-arranged cup tie against Livingston tomorrow night.”
