Muir of the Same Please
Recent signing Gary Muir made his first start for the Bully Wee at Arbroath on Wednesday, putting in a solid shift and setting up the third goal with a header that came back off the bar.
The midfielder spoke to www.clydefc.co.uk after his warm down at Gayfield:-
“It was good to get a run out. I got a bit of stick for my first half performance but I was told I improved after the break. It was good to play in the match as that was only my second 90 minutes since May 2nd.
“During the summer I was set to sign for Shamrock Rovers but unfortunately I fractured my foot. I’m just delighted to get back playing again.
“I trained with Clyde last season when I played with Lisburn as I knew David Hutton. When I ended up without a club I contacted Alan Lithgow to see if he would help me join up at Broadwood again. Gladly the gaffer gave me a line to get back in and I’m delighted to take it.
“Nothing matters at the moment apart from playing and hopefully I can now get a good run going and establish myself at Clyde.”
