New Faces for Alloa Visit
Alloa visit Broadwood tomorrow for the first time since the dramatic play-off match in 2008; this time on Second Division duty.
Once again there will be changes to the Bully Wee matchday squad. As reported yesterday, Callum Reidford is suspended and will be replaced by trialist Andy McNeil. Darren Walker is also out after picking up an injury at training last night.
Mark Casey has recovered sufficiently from a hamstring strain to be considered.
Also coming into contention to play are new signing Steven Odunewa and returning midfielder Marvyn Wilson.
John Brown spoke to the website ahead of the clash: “All the matches so far have been tough but Alloa have experience in their side and are one of the favourites for the league. They have a physical side to their game and we’ll need to handle that.
“I think that the team needs another couple of games before they are fully bedded in but I thought we did ok last week before the sending off and we want to build on that.
“The return of Park and Halliday has given us more options and allows us to form a better shape.”
