Clyde 0-1 Stirling Albion

Clyde’s suffered a second league defeat in as many games as a poor start to the season continued at Broadwood this afternoon.

The match kick-off was delayed for 15 minutes due to traffic problems, but both teams started in lively fashion. The Binos gradually took control of proceedings though, with Callum Reidford pulling off a good save to keep the score at 0-0.

On 38 minutes the visitors scored when O’Brien played Grehan in and he rounded Reidford before finishing the move.

The second half saw more domination for the visitors and they missed a penalty following a foul by Scott Gair.

It wasn’t until the last five minutes that the Bully Wee looked to capitalise on that though, with subs Boyle and McFadden changing the pace of the Clyde attack; unfortunately to no avail in terms of chances on goal.
