Clyde’s Credit Crunch Cracker
It’s nearly time to renew or purchase a season ticket for the 2009-10 campaign. A new lower pricing structure has been set, aimed at rewarding supporters’ loyalty and increasing the number of season ticket holders.
The reduced rates mean that adults can watch the Bully Wee for just a tenner game, with concessions being just a fiver a match. The incredible £5 season ticket for kids remains, but anyone up to the age of 15 can now benefit from the offer.
This follows a consultation process with fans, and the format of the season tickets has also changed. A new system sees each ticket holder gaining 20 fully transferrable vouchers, which can be used at any match over the season as and when you wish.
For example, this means that you can take a friend along to one match if you know are going to be missing another.
Additionally, for the first time, you can also purchase a further season ticket (for 2010-11) in advance.
‘Support the Club’ option – The prices below are the “minimum prices”. If you wish to pay extra (i.e. last year’s prices) then all donations will be gratefully received and will go towards the ‘Back The Bully Wee’ fund, via the Clyde Supporters’ Trust.
The pricing structure for 2009-10 is as follows:
Adult: £200
Concession*: £100
Under-18: £50
Under-16: £5
Two year season tickets are also available as follows:
Adult: £400
Concession*: £200
Under-18: £100
Under-16: £10
Commercial director, David Dalziel, said “We will be delighted if fans will commit to a season ticket renewal for 2009-10 and perhaps beyond.
“A response by April 18th will be greatly appreciated. An early commitment will really help the club in these difficult times.”
Postcards will be sent out to all current season ticket holders tomorrow, with a further website announcement to follow shortly when sales via the Online Shop are available.
The Supporters’ Trust will be administering all payments. Traditional methods of payment by cash or cheque (payable to “Clyde Supporters’ Trust”) can be made now to the Trust or the Clyde Office.
Finance director, David Dishon, added: “We believe that the standard season ticket package offers fantastic value to our loyal supporters.
“We were keen to offer a true value-for-money package in this current economic environment, when football is a luxury item, and we firmly believe we are doing this.
“Signing up to this great offer means you can watch Clyde for a tenner a game for adults, a fiver a game for concessions and just £2.50 per game for 16 and 17-year-olds. We are also delighted to extend the ‘Under-12s for a fiver’ season ticket package to Under-16s, as we aim to grow our fan base for the next generation.”
The very popular Executive Club is also included in the one or two year option with prices as follows:-
Full member: £550 (£1050)
Senior citizen member: £450 (£855)
Student member: £370
Junior member (high school): £290
*Senior Citizens and Students. Aged sixty-five as at 1/8/09 is the starting point for the Senior Citizens category. Students must produce a valid matriculation card. Pay-at-the-gate prices for concessions will be increased next season, ensuring that full season ticket value is maintained.
