Clyde 0 v 1 Livingston

Time is running out for the Bully Wee as another home defeat was registered at Broadwood this afternoon.

Dunfermline’s last minute equaliser at the Excelsior Stadium does, however, keep Clyde in touch of Airdrie in the battle for ninth spot.

In blustery conditions, a fairly dull match overall saw Robbie Winters (pictured) make his debut in attack with Pat Clarke, but it was Livi who were first to strike after 22 minutes through Hamill.

Headers from Winters and Clarke represented the only real threat to the away goal before half-time.

Referee Colin Brown did his best to finish the match as a contest just after the break, firstly missing what looked like a clear foul in the box on Winters and then sending off Willie McLaren, who kicked out in frustration after the decision.

The remainder of the game featured little in the way of chances at either end, although David Hutton brilliantly saved a penalty following another controversial decision by Brown.
