Livingston 1 v 1 Clyde
Livingston and Clyde shared the points in a match that was surprisingly entertaining given the weather conditions, particularly in the second half.
The home side enjoyed the best of much of the first period but took the lead on the counter attack through new signing David Winters. The Bully Wee forced their way back into the match before half-time though and Willie McLaren finished well after latching onto a fine Alan Trouten pass.
Clyde were against a fierce wind and driving rain after the break and Livi tried to use that to their advantage. Twice David Hutton produced excellent touches to force shots onto the woodwork and Alan Lowing did just enough to put off Leigh Griffiths as he beared down on goal.
At the other end, Roddy McKenzie somehow kept out Pat Clarke’s effort and Trouten was extremely unlucky to see his looping shot come back off the inside of the post.
