Alan Lithgow Statement

Following the outcome of his trial today, Alan Lithgow requested to issue the following statement via the club’s official website:-
 
“I am very sorry for the upset and distress caused through my actions and I wholeheartedly accept the judgement of the court. I can assure everyone that this will not happen again.

“I would like to thank my close family and friends, Clyde Football Club and in particular the fans and my manager John Brown for their support during this period.”
