McLaren Signs New Deal

The club is pleased to announce this afternoon that Willie McLaren (right) has signed a new extended contract, until May 2010.

Willie was signed by John Brown in the summer after doing well in a trial spell and immediately impressed with his early season form.

Unfortunately he suffered a leg break in the match at Dens Park in August but has been in fine form during his recent return to the team.

In other news, the previously reported loan extension (until January 31st) of Alan Lowing from Rangers was completed today. However, Paul Emslie will now not be doing likewise, as he has picked up an injury and will return to Ibrox for treatment.

This signals the end of Paul’s time at Broadwood, having featured in eleven matches.

Alan Lithgow has also signed a new one-month contract to extend his stay at Clyde.
