Lithgow Signs Short-Term Deal
Alan Lithgow has joined the Bully Wee after the centre-half today agreed an initial deal to the 31st December.
The 20-year-old was released by Heart of Midlothian before the end of the transfer window, having made just one first team appearance for the Edinburgh club.
John Brown said, “Alan has been training with us for a while and we’ve had a look at him in reserve matches. We’re happy to give him a chance to make an impression on the first team.”
The Clyde boss also reported some better news on the injury front after Saturday’s match against Livingston.
It has been confirmed that Mark Brown did not suffer a fracture, although he is still in discomfort and has so far this week been limited to gym work.
Dave McKay sustained a foot injury that has kept him off the training ground but it is not thought to be too serious, with Pat Clarke recovering from a hip knock to return to action today.
