Reserves Lose Out at Broadwood

Mon, 29th Sep 2008 9:44pm

Clyde took on Stenhousemuir at Broadwood tonight in the second match of the Reserve League Cup.

The Warriors won by a single goal, although The Bully Wee dominated most of the match and had numerous chances to score thoughout.

The goal came in the first half, when a long free-kick fell between David Hutton and Chris Higgins and the Stenhousemuir striker nipped in to score.

David McGowan, Ruari MacLennan, Stephen Connolly and Roddy MacLennan were amongst those who nearly scored, but good goalkeeping or poor finishing prevented it.

CLYDE (4-4-2): Hutton, Trialist, Higgins, Wilson (Murch 65), Brown, Trialist, Roddy MacLennan, Ruari MacLennan, McGowan, Trouten, Stephen Connolly (Walker 85).
