Under-19s Start With a Draw
Clyde’s Under-19 side travelled to Montrose today for their first match in the 2008-09 campaign.
The match finished 2-2, with The Bully Wee’s goals coming from Sean Connolly (right) and Marc McCusker.
The IRN-BRU Scottish Football League Under-19 Youth Division for Season 2008-2009 will contain 19 teams playing each other once. The teams are as follows:-
Airdrie United, Alloa Athletic, Arbroath, Ayr United, Clyde, Cowdenbeath, Dumbarton, Dundee, Dunfermline Athletic, East Stirlingshire, Elgin City, Livingston, Montrose, Morton, Partick Thistle, Queen’s Park, Raith Rovers, Ross County and Stirling Albion.
A Youth League Cup takes place later in the season with the competition based on regional sections with the winners playing in a final.
