King’s Lynn 1 v 2 Clyde
Clyde completed their pre-season tour this evening in the best possible way by securing a 1-2 victory over King’s Lynn in front of crowd of 480.
Stuart Kettlewell gave Clyde the lead with a header from a corner that looped over Scott Howie in the King’s Lynn goal.
The Bully Wee continued to enjoy the best of the first half, but The Linnets missed a chance to equalise when a penalty came back off the post.
The hosts did level the score on 49 minutes and enjoyed a better spell after that. Clyde began to assert themselves again towards the end of the game and Dave McKay missed a second penalty of the match near the end.
However, with just three minutes remaining, McKay made amends by scoring the winner with a low shot from inside the box.
