Clyde 3 v 0 Stirling Albion
Clyde managed to win and also put some goals on the card but it wasn’t enough, as Ian McCall’s Partick Thistle side continued their poor form in losing 0-3 to Morton.
At the end of a nervy first half, made more difficult by a strong wind blowing through Broadwood, Gary McSwegan broke the deadlock when he capitalised on a mistake by the Stirling ‘keeper.
The Bully Wee got off to a dream start in the second period when Pat Clarke blasted home from close range. It took until the 83rd minute for another goal to come, when Clarke tucked away a penalty after being brought down himself.
However, the result was not enough and a one goal advantage turned out to be enough for The Ton. Clyde will now travel to Alloa on Wednesday night for the first leg of the Play-Off Semi-Final.
