Dundee v Clyde
The Bully Wee travel to Dens Park tomorrow for an IRN-BRU First Division match that is crucial to both sides for different reasons.
The Dees are still hopeful of catching Hamilton to clinch promotion but John Brown’s men are battling to avoid the drop and the Clyde boss spoke to www.clydefc.co.uk this evening:-
“Dundee are going for the title but we are fighting for our lives so it should make for a right good game.”
Midfielders Marvyn Wilson and Jimmy Gibson come back into contention for a place, but plans were affected today by squad members struggling with the effects of a sickness bug; in particular Gary Arbuckle. John continued:-
“We’ll need to wait until the morning to see how one or two of the boys are. Gary was struggling today and it would be a blow if he misses out as he worked well up front with Pat on Tuesday.
“We’ve had to cope with players being out recently and if that is the case again then we’ll just need to deal with it.
“We rode our luck on Tuesday but we put in a good shift and we’ll need that again. The result has lifted the players and they were buzzing today. There will be a good atmosphere at the game and if we get the same attitude and concentration as we did in Perth then we can pick up something.”
