Squad Update

With the year almost at an end and the transfer window about to open, Colin Hendry spoke to the Official Website to give supporters an update on the work being done off the park:-

“We’re now entering a busy period where players are soon out of contract at our club and at other clubs. We’ve tried to do as much as possible to prepare for the remainder of this season and future seasons.

“Several players remain targets for me but the one I will name, who is still very much a possibility, is James Grady of Gretna. He would not only be a player but also my Assistant Manager.

“We’ve been in negotiations with members of the current squad since October and we’ve offered Chris Higgins, David Hutton and Craig McKeown longer and improved deals.

“Talks will continue until a decision is reached but I’m hopeful these players will decide to commit to a playing environment where they are relaxed and enjoying their football.

“I’d like to take this opportunity to wish all Clyde fans a ‘Happy New Year’ when it comes and thank you for your support so far this season.”
