Injury Round-Up

The Official Website caught up with Club Physio Iain McKinlay for a full update on the latest injury situation.

Marvyn Wilson, Gary Arbuckle and Steven Masterton are all on the road to recovery and have a chance of making a return to the team within the next ten days.

Wilson suffered a torn groin muscle against Dundee at Dens Park but is hoping to return to training on Friday. Arbuckle (hamstring) and Masterton (knee) are also nearing the end of treatment but Saturday’s trip to East End Park may come too soon for them.

Joe Cardle missed the Queen of the South match due to a dead leg but, after returning to Port Vale this week for treatment, he should be available to line-up against Dunfermline.

Long-term absentee Ryan Wilkie, yet to make his Bully Wee debut, is now targeting a return to the reserves before Christmas. The winger spent a week at Lilleshall recently to aid his recovery from a niggling hamstring injury he received shortly after arriving at the club.
