Craig McKeown continued his comeback from injury with another run out on Thursday. This time St.Mirren were the opposition for the Bully Wee and the Paisley side had a mixture of youth and experience in their team. Former Clyde stalwart Andy Millen marshalled the midfield and Billy Mehmet was up front as they ran out 4-0 winners.

Craig featured in an experimental young side, with first teamers Marvyn Wilson, Sean McKenna and Dan Kirkup amongst those that took part. Evangelino Valentim missed out after taking a slight knock in training.

t was a good workout for all concerned and fulfilled manager Colin Hendry’s wish of keeping the squad ticking over during the break. www.clydefc.co.uk understands that plans are underway for the Bully Wee squad to take part in another bounce game next week as the club aims to be ready for the next crucial home game with Morton a week tomorrow.
