Clyde 0 v 1 Morton

Clyde suffered a disappointing defeat at the hands of Morton at Broadwood today. A very poor first half display led to a 0-1 half-time scoreline and, despite some improvement after the break, the Bully Wee couldn’t get back into the match.

Peter Weatherson finished well after 15 minutes to give the Ton the lead, following slack defending by Clyde.

Neither goalkeeper had much to do for the remainder of the match, with Steven Masterton coming closest to equalising when he sent a late free-kick just wide of the post.
