Col Up For The Cup

Colin Hendry spoke to the Official Website today following on from Saturday’s defeat at Cappielow and before tomorrow’s visit of Raith Rovers on CIS Insurance Cup duty:-

“It’s a big game. Every match at a professional football club is important but in terms of finance this one is very important as we could get a good draw if we go through to the 2nd Round.

“Raith had a great result at Airdrie on Saturday and credit to them for that.

“With Marvin Andrews and Andy Tod in the team they are going to have some presence about them and they have options on where they can play Andy.”

New signing Marvyn Wilson will again feature but this time as a Clyde player and, with the exception of Craig McKeown, Colin has no injury worries after the weekend:-

“The players were in this morning and were very bright. I don’t think they are disappointed about Saturday – more angry if anything. They don’t feel as though justice was done but it’s not something I want to go on about. Hopefully these things will even out over the season.

“I hope we’ll have a good crowd tomorrow and that we can record our first win in front of them.”

The two clubs have agreed admission prices for the match, which starts at 7.45pm, as follows:-

Adults: £15
Under-16s: £7
Concessions: £7
Parent & Child: £17

Supporters are reminded that Season Tickets will again be on sale in the Clyde Suite, which will be accessible after entering the Main Stand through the turnstiles.
