Clyde 0 v 2 Hamilton

Clyde lost out at Broadwood today, with the crucial moment in the match coming on the stroke of half-time as Neil McGregor was adjudged to have conceded a penalty. McGregor was sent off for being the “last man” and Richard Offiong, who was fouled in the incident, converted the spot kick.

The Bully Wee had made some tactical changes and started the match in much better fashion, although chances were few and far between at both ends until the opening goal.

The second half task was always going to be a difficult one with ten men and it was made no easier by the loss of David Hutton, who eventually succumbed to two off the ball knocks received earlier in the match.

Steven Masterton was unlucky to hit the post with a free-kick before Elebert sealed the win for the visitors with a looping header.
