Search Begins…

“The search starts today.” Those were the words of Clyde Director John Ruddy this morning as the Board began their efforts to recruit a new Manager for the Bully Wee. “Joe took the decision to leave and now we have to find a suitable replacement.”

“One thing that is certain though, is that the new man will take charge of a great bunch of young players. Last season we had the best defence in the First Division and that will be the foundation for our future.”

John would not be drawn on any names but did not rule out a Player-Manager. John commented: “Without doubt the successful candidate will be a person with an aptitude to working with younger players and coaching them to achieve their potential. Already my phone is buzzing with the interest in the post so it is going to be an interesting time.”
