No Greek Tragedy!
The Clyde View has done it again! The Bully Wee programme has just been announced for the 12th consecutive year as the ‘Scottish Programme of the Year’ and all this despite the View’s design supremo, Frank Tocher, emigrating to Greece!
The programme is interesting in the sense that it is designed in Greece and was even for one issue despatched to the printers from on board a local Greek ferry! The growth of IT has transformed the production of the Clyde View but its varied and topical content remains crucial to its popularity.
The award is sponsored by Programme Monthly and the judges commented that “the contents remain superior to every other Scottish programme.”
However, it seems the editorial team is not going to rest on its laurels as plans are already afoot to enhance ‘The View’ in time for next season.
Programme Editor John Taylor said:- “It’s a team effort and a big thank-you is due to all our sponsors and advertisers, with a special mention to Endaxi, Walker & Connell, SCA Packaging Pollockshaws, Glasgow Laminators and Donald Murray Paper. Finally, of course, our contributors for all their commitment and input which makes ‘The Clyde View’ such a success.”
