Clyde FC were delighted to hear that Steven Howarth has been selected for the Scotland squad. Steven is part of the Under-15s squad but has already featured in the Under-17s for Clyde this season.

Steven will join up with a number of top youth players from all over Scotland on Monday 5th March and stay overnight with the squad at Largs where he will work with Ross Mathie and his coaching team.

Head of Youth Development, Alan Upton commented, “Steven has done very well this season and has been moved up to the 17s squad where he has continued to progress and we are delighted that he and the club have gained this recognition.”

It is further evidence of the good work being done in youth development at the club and all at Clyde FC wish Steven the very best as he works with the Scotland set up.
