Clyde Seek Goalden Deelight

Clyde travel to Dundee tomorrow keen to reverse their form of late and get back on the winning trail. Dundee and Clyde have experienced a considerable turnaround in fortune since the teams clashed at Broadwood in December.

On that day the Dark Blues were flattered by the 2-1 defeat as goals by Arbuckle and O’Donnell guided Clyde to three points but since then the Bully Wee have taken just 4 points in contrast to Dundee who have charged up the table to third position.

Clyde will be on similar lines to last weekend with long term casualty Neil McGregor likely to be the only absentee. Neil had his exploratory op last Friday and has since been able to shed his crutches but sadly it promises to be a long road back for the talented defender.

Despite that crucial absence Clyde’s defence did perform well last Saturday and the first half ranks as one of the better midfield displays of late. It is however goals that win matches and attention will turn to see who can take the chances as the Bully Wee seek their first victory in five games.
