Clyde failed to put clear blue water between themselves and Airdrie United as the Diamonds edged a nervy encounter by a single Twigg goal.

The Bully Wee could count themselves unfortunate to go in behind at the interval with Arbuckle and Ferguson spurning chances but Clyde lacked the necessary guile in the second half to get that vital equaliser.
