Challenge Cup Draw

The Challenge Cup Draw was made today and has given Clyde an away tie at Montrose. A repeat of last season’s CIS cup tie which Clyde were victorious. The full draw was:

ST. JOHNSTONE -v- QUEEN’S PARK

MORTON -v- COWDENBEATH

FORFAR ATHLETIC -v- ARBROATH

MONTROSE -v- CLYDE

QUEEN OF THE SOUTH -v- AYR UNITED

ALBION ROVERS -v- ELGIN CITY

GRETNA -v- HAMILTON ACADEMICAL

ROSS COUNTY -v- ALLOA ATHLETIC

ABOVE TIES WILL BE PLAYED ON TUESDAY, 29TH OR
WEDNESDAY, 30TH AUGUST, 2006

In the event of a draw after normal time, extra time of 30 minutes (i.e. 15 minutes each way) will take place and thereafter, if necessary, Kicks from the Penalty Mark will be taken in accordance with the Rules laid down by the International Football Association Board.
