A Good Test

Joe Miller spoke to the website after today’s victory against Hearts. We have had a good preseason: 19 goals scored and 1 conceded. There were a lot of good players in the Hearts side today and it was a good test for the boys and I’m delighted with it.”

“Currently we have Stevie Masterton and Craig McKeown with injuries they are progressing but I didn’t take any chances with them. It was great to see Neil McGregor back and Michael McGowan playing a full part and scoring today as well. We have the nucleus of the side from last season and that will help the lads.”

Joe continued, “The boys are performing well and have enjoyed the training. We spread the games following 2 weeks of intensive training at the start and it has been encouraging that the people who have seen us play have complimented us in the way we have been playing.”
