Last year’s match with Rangers was played behind closed doors with only friends and family allowed entry but with the game being staged at the Esther Shiner stadium there are high hopes for a healthy crowd. The multi-sport stadium originally opened in June 1984 and was renamed in honour of former City of North York Councillor Esther Shiner in July 1988. The stadium has been upgraded with a new artificial playing surface and running track and was officially re-opened in September 2005.
Clyde have enjoyed excellent training facilities since arriving from Scotland, fostered good relationships with local football fans and will be hoping to end the competitive football side of the trip with a victory.
