Kids For A Quid
Kids under 12 will be admitted to Broadwood this weekend for £1.Clyde will complete their season with a home game against Stranraer and in what has been a memorable season for the Bully Wee, the club has lined up some entertainment for the fans in the first Clyde FC Community Day.
The occasion will see a pre match mini seven a side football tournament between local boys’ clubs under 9 teams including a Clyde community team. Fans will also be entertained by a pipe band and at half time a team of older youths will be giving a demonstration of their skills in a “keepy-uppy” competition”.
Supporters of course will be determined to see their favourites gain maximum points as the club chases fourth place. Regardless of the result the whole playing squad, who grabbed the headlines worldwide following their defeat of Celtic in the Scottish Cup, will take a well deserved bow at full time.
It promises to be a special occasion and the club has implemented a special pricing policy for the day: Season Ticket holders can bring a friend for free, other admission prices are Adults £10, concessions £5 and of course kids under 12 will be charged £1.
