In this week in 2002, Jack Ross was reflecting on his four yard header that proved to be a derby winner against Partick Thistle while Clyde secured their First Division status with a Pat Keogh goal against Raith Rovers at Starks Park.

In this week in 2003, Mark Gilhaney arrived back having made a late appearance as a substitute in Scotland’s under-19 friendly against Switzerland last night.The match finished 2-2, with Celtic’s Craig Beattie and Aberdeen’s Scott Morrison grabbing Scotland’s goals. Bryn Halliwell signed a two year contract while Stephen McConalogue and Paddy Keogh were the scorers in a 2-1 win over Alloa.

In this week in 2004, the Supporters Trust were at the forefront of the “Back the Bully Wee” campaign encouraging a number of initiatives for fans to fundraise for the club. The club shop was also now in the control of the Trust with a host of new stock to tempt supporters. Meanwhile on the pitch Clyde enjoyed a 2-0 win against Queen of the South increasing the club’s lead at the top of the First to 6 points.

In this week in 2005, Billy Reid quashed rumours that he was set to join Hamilton Accies. On the pitch Clyde were struggling with injuries and were dealt a further blow with a home defeat against Hamilton by 3 goals to 1. While off the pitch the Clyde board were working to set budgets and plan for season 2005/06 to allow Clyde to compete in the First Division.
