Clyde V Airdrie United
The carnival has arrived at Broadwood and all fans will be hoping that the thrills and spills will not be restricted to the show rides. Games against Airdrie United to date have on the whole been exciting affairs: great goals, controversy and two Clyde victories to date have cheered the Bully Wee faithful.
On their last visit to Broadwood, Airdrie turned in a fantastic attacking display but somehow couldn’t break their duck but there is no room for complacency as Airdrie have demonstrated on numerous other occasions this season that they know their route to goal. United striker, Brian McPhee, is suspended for the clash but Graham Roberts has pinpointed Bryan Prunty has the main threat.
Meanwhile Clyde don’t have their problems to seek tomorrow: Neil McGregor is ruled out for the season while Stephen O’Donnell is suspended as Alex Williams (thigh) and Robert Harris (ankle) struggle with injuries.
