Haste Ye Back!

“Come back to Broadwood! All those who supported Clyde on Sunday, don’t just leave it as one fine day but come back and cheer us on again and again!” This was the message from the Clyde Directors to the 2000 supporters of the Bully Wee who witnessed the Tennents Scottish Cup Third Round victory over Celtic.

Director Frank Dunn commented: “We have very loyal fans but to back the work that Graham and Joe are doing in the long term we need to increase our core support from our current 1000. The Celtic result gives us an opportunity to build for the future.”

Frank put up a challenge to the Clyde support: “If you brought along a guest for the game against Celtic make sure you encourage them to come back. On the 4th February we play Gretna in the Fourth Round of the Cup at Broadwood, let’s make that another special day. It is a difficult tie and we need everyone’s support”

Frank continued: “All of our allocation was taken by season ticket holders and Trust Members as they invited their friends and family to the game. All witnessed an historic event. We need to use that memory to boost the Club not only in the short term but in the years ahead to ensure that this Club can grow to its full potential.”
