Graham Gets His Man!

Graham Roberts tonight confirmed that he has secured the signature of Hibs midfielder Kevin McDonald. The Clyde boss was delighted. “He is here on loan to the end of the season. Kevin is young and hard working and plays in central midfield. He started his career with Newcastle United and is a quality addition to the squad and I am pleased that he has agreed to join us.”

Graham was hopeful that this would not be the end of the new arrivals at Broadwood. “It has been a frustrating time we have tried to bring in a number of players but for various reasons so far, it hasn’t worked out but that does not mean I’ve given up. I’m continuing to pursue a number of options.”

Graham and Joe have certainly been working round the clock in their attempts to bring in players and have recently been assisted by fomer Dundee United, Dundee and Celtic forward Tommy Coyne (pictured right).

Coyne has been helping with training at Broadwood recently as he studies to achieve his “A” License in coaching. The prolific striker who enjoyed success as a manager in the Junior game is also identifying talent from those leagues and it is further evidence that no stone is being left unturned in Graham’s search for new stars.
