Ross County V Clyde Preview

Clyde boss Graham Roberts has reported no new injury worries for Saturday’s trip to Dingwall to face Ross County. Paul McHale remains out and the Bully Wee will also be minus Eddie Malone and Neil McGregor, both due to suspension.

“It’s a must win game for us and we will be going all out to win. In some ways it seems like a six-pointer especially after dropping two points last week”, commented Graham. Clyde will of course be facing former boss Gardner Spiers who has admirably led Ross County since the departure of John Robertson and any match at Victoria Park is always a tough task.

The last time Clyde were there they received a harsh lesson in the art of scoring goals. That summer’s day seems a long time ago and the young squad have proved to be quick learners, leaving Graham Roberts in no doubt that the team is up to the challenge and capable of returning south down the A9 with maximum points.

One player also available for selection tomorrow will be Craig Bryson and the manager talked further about the player’s position at the club. “We have made Craig two offers and regrettably he has not agreed terms.”

There appears little dispute in the belief of his quality, the debate seems more to focus on when is the right time to move to a bigger club and it appears that unlike his peers Craig now wishes to move on.

“We have offered what we could afford and it is a fact you can’t get blood out of a stone. It is regrettable but Craig appears to believe that his future lies elsewhere and therefore he will be made available for transfer in January but for the time being, just like last week, he will play when selected.”
