Raring To Go!
Clyde skipper Paul McHale is doubtful for the visit of St Johnstone to Broadwood tomorrow but Chris Higgins returns from suspension. All the team are raring to go, thrilled by their perfomance at Ibrox and the marvelous reaction to their CIS Insurance Cup showing against Rangers.
That view was confirmed by Clyde boss Graham Roberts who spoke to the website. He was confident that the team would have no reaction to the cup tie, “As you could imagine training has not been that physical as we had to take account of the effort that went into the Rangers game but the players have been in extremely high spirits.”
The crucial question is of course is how we can carry the form of Tuesday night into the league but again Roberts is understandably upbeat, “we can’t wait for the game and as usual we will be going all out
One player definitely missing from this match is Romauld Boudaji but there is better news on this front, “Romauld has begun full training again. This is a boost however he is short of match practice and therefore I’ll be trying to arrange a bounce game for him and some other lads who have not been in the starting eleven.”
Visitors St Johnstone can call up midfielder Kieran McAnespie, who returns to the Perth pool after long-term injury, along with Mark Campbell who is free from suspension.
Saints’ Neil Janczyk and Kevin James are doubts while Peter MacDonald will undergo a late fitness check.
