Lots Of Reasons To Join The Crew!

Another season is only weeks away, and what an exciting season it looks like being.

With the surprise appointment of our new management team of Graham Roberts and Joe Miller, the profile of Clyde has been taken to a new level. Clyde‘s name has rarely been out of the papers and we have seen our manager on TV and heard him on the radio probably more often during one close season than at any time since our move to Cumbernauld.

This excitement will be reflected in the plans we have for the Clyde Crew for next season; plans to take the Crew to a new level and offer you all new and exciting benefits of membership.

Firstly, members who join before 10 July will have a chance to be match mascot for the biggest game Broadwood has staged, the friendly against Manchester United. This game has been heavily publicised and is sure to be a sell out and all our members aged under twelve will be given the chance to lead out the teams on 16 July.

Those who miss out on the United game will still have a chance to lead out the Clyde team in one of the league or cup games at Broadwood.

We have not forgotten about those members aged twelve and over. After each game at Broadwood they will be given the chance to take part in a mini press conference with a selection of players and the Clyde manager with their question and answers going in the Clyde Crew page of the programme.

Each member will receive a free and exclusive Clyde Crew tee-shirt as well as a birthday card. There will also be more club nights most of which will be held in conjunction with our new sponsor, Pro Bowl of Kirkintilloch.

The two previous bowling nights have proved to be a great success. Pro Bowl are also trying to organise a league for other junior teams in the area and the better players will be given the chance to represent the Clyde Crew.

Members will also have their Christmas party and hopefully a Halloween party to look forward to and we are currently speaking to Graham Roberts to see if we can organise some more exclusive events which will involve the players and management.

When we have some details Crew members will be the first to know about them, but these proposed events do promise to be another exciting addition to the Clyde Crew experience.

Don’t forget Crew members will still have the chance of reduced admission to away games with the Clyde Crew away days which will be run pretty much like last season’s successful format and we have a trip to Dens Park to look forward to.

The cost for all of these exciting activities is only £8, which will represent the first rise in four seasons of the Clyde Crew but I am sure you will agree that for what we have planned for next season this will still be great value. So if this sounds like you want to be involved next season pop over to www.clydetrust.org to download your membership form and return it to the Trust address along with your cheque for £8.
