Friendly Battles!
Commercial Manager Jack Rolland confirmed today that preparations for the season ahead are continuing apace. As well as the Manchester United game two other matches have been scheduled for Broadwood in the run up to the season starter against Brechin City on 30 July.
Clyde will face Motherwell at Broadwood on 14 July, kick off 7.30pm. This game is now NOT a closed door match as had previously been intimated. The Bully Wee will also face Paul Lambert’s Livingston on 25 July, again with a 7.30pm kick off.
Graham Roberts believes that these games are essential to the Club as he shapes the squad into his method of play and will help to attain the correct standards of fitness. The Clyde boss is therefore continuing to attempt to tie up some more pre-season fixtures and is in negotiations with three clubs to arrange some challenge games away from Cumbernauld. Full details will appear on the site when these matches are confirmed.
