Players To Learn Of Club’S Ambitions
Clyde F.C. Managing Director Jim Murray (pictured left) has now completed his review of the Club’s various activities, based on his fellow Board members’ assessment of expected income and expenditure for Season 2005-06.
The figures emerging from this comprehensive review have formed the basis of recent discussions between those Directors responsible for Clyde’s finances (Jim Murray, John Alexander and Len McGuire) and the Club’s manager Billy Reid regarding the size and shape of next season’s playing squad.
In keeping with Clyde’s long-established reputation as a family club and in line with the Board’s desire to be as open and honest as commercial confidentiality permits, it is now the Directors’ intention to speak directly to the whole playing squad, confirming the undoubted financial progress the Club has made in the last twelve months, the need to continue to operate within set budgets and explaining Clyde Football Club’s ambitious plans for the future, some of which has attracted such positive publicity in recent weeks.
