Under 19S League Cup Commences

The Scottish Football League Youth League Cup will begin this week, commencing on Sunday 20 March.

The competition will be grouped in two sections of eight, with each club playing their respective opponents once giving a total of seven matches. Thereafter, the winners of each Section will contest the Final over one leg. The dates for playing these matches are as follows:-

Sectional Matches: W/c Sunday 20 March until w/c Sunday 1 May, 2005
Final: W/c Sunday 8 May 2005

The Bully Wee were originally placed in Section 2 (Northern) along with the following teams :
Alloa Athletic, Arbroath, Falkirk, Forfar Athletic, Ross County, St Johnstone, Stenhousemuir, and Stirling Albion, but the withdrawal of both Berwick Rangers and Morton from the Southern Section saw Clyde being moved to that section which includes the following teams: Albion Rovers, Cowdenbeath, Gretna, Hamilton Accies, Queen of the South, Queen’s Park and St. Mirren.
