Billy Reid spoke to the website this evening in the run up to Tuesday night’s encounter with St Johnstone. “Jimmy Gibson is available after suspension but is struggling with an ankle knock. Scott Wilson is also doubtful but definitely out is Craig Bryson.”

The young midfielder who has made such an impact this season has been diagnosed with a mild form of asthma and is currently receiving medication. “I need to be careful with Craig over the next few weeks and that is a big disappointment.”

The Clyde boss also confirmed that Simon Mensing would be missing from Clyde’s tie with Hamilton but no other players are affected by suspensions. “A number of the guys are nearing the threshold but Simon is the only one affected.”
