CLYDE v CELTIC ROADWORKS INFORMATION: A73 CLOSED ON SUNDAY 27 FEBRUARY 2005

ALTERNATIVE ROUTES TO BROADWOOD STADIUM

At 05.00 hours on Saturday 26 February 2005 the northbound M73 will be closed in order to facilitate resurfacing work to be carried out.

The closure will remain in place throughout Saturday and Sunday and consequently will impact on supporters travelling to the Scottish Cup tie between Clyde and Celtic, which is to be held at Broadwood Stadium on Sunday 27 February 2005.

The main M73 northbound carriageway will be closed at Baillieston together with the northbound on slip at this location.

TRAFFIC WILL BE DIVERTED AS FOLLOWS:

M73 closure
Traffic travelling north on the M73 will be diverted via the westbound M8, exit at junction 13 (Provan Road) and continue via northbound M80 and then A80.

Northbound on slip closure
Continue via eastbound A8, exit onto A752 to join westbound M8 and aforementioned diversion.

Supporters are urged to allow more time for their journey.
