&Amp;Pound;100 Bid To Become Cup Legend Spons
A fantastic £100 has been bid by one Clyde supporter to become the website cup hero sponsor of Albert Murphy (pictured left). This comes on top of two superb £50 submissions to become permanently associated on the website with Harry Haddock and Tommy Ring.
All three players played in both the 1955 and 1958 cup-winning teams and this means the names and photographs of the successful sponsors of these three players, plus whoever backs Archie Robertson of course, will appear in two pages of the website once the 1958 profiles are added.
The illustrated story of the 1955 final and a tribute to each of the eleven winning medalists will launch the site’s History section. These pages will be along the lines of the very successful player profile pages and this sub-section offers the chance for eleven Clyde fans to be permananently linked to the following legendary names:

Messrs Granville and Hill recently took part in the televised Scottish Cup third round draw at Broadwood and the evergreen Davie Laing has moved through to the West from Kirkcaldy and is now staying in East Kilbride.
