Hail And Harty!
The weather might have been woeful but opponents Falkirk preferred that to facing on fire Ian Harty. Goal hero Harty spoke to the website as he celebrated hitting double figures for Clyde this season.
“This result might have surprised some people with the way Falkirk have been going this season; they have been outstanding. I think our two new signings have given us that extra bit of quality and it showed today in our performance”.
Harty focussed on his strike partner Graeme Jones. “If you’d asked anybody at the Club, that is what we’ve been crying out for; somebody to play up front to take all the knocks and flick-ons. I think big Graeme
The striker was proud of the team’s performance. “I think everyone expects Falkirk to win every week but the guys here at the Club have confidence in their own ability so it’s maybe a shock to people outside but to us it’s not really. We’ve created a few chances and it could have been more than three. They had chances as well but Bryn Halliwell was magnificent again”.
Although pleased, Ian was not making any rash predictions. “I’m not going to say that we can catch Falkirk because it’s going to be very difficult but we’ll just take each game as it comes and try to get points on the board”.
