Early Team News
Billy Reid was pleased to report that Clyde are likely to be at full strength for this weekend’s match against St Johnstone. “The late cancellation of the Falkirk match was frustrating to say the least but the players are working hard in preparation for the St Johnstone game”.
It seems that training has been slightly easier. “Training has been a bit better,” said Billy. “We’re back at Glasgow Green now, though on Tuesday, because of frost, it was tricky but every team is in the same boat”.
Clyde now have three matches to rearrange and Billy admits the consequences of that fact could be harsh for the Club. “We have a small squad and playing numerous matches in quick succession will be very difficult. That’s why it was vital that we got points on the board as quickly as possible this season. Thankfully we have achieved that but we need to continue to push on to finish as high up the league as we can”.
